Welcome to the historic Cavern Theatre. To protect this treasured landmark and ensure a safe, respectful experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you review and observe the following policies:
General Conduct
- Guests must follow all instructions provided by Cavern Theatre staff and volunteers.
- Disorderly conduct, disruptive behavior, or failure to comply with posted policies may result in removal from the premises without a refund.
- Parents of guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
Prohibited Items
To maintain a safe and comfortable environment, the following items are not allowed inside the theatre:
- Weapons of any kin, including firearms, knives, and other dangerous items.
- Outside food, beverages, or alcohol.
- Smoking, vaping, or the use of e-cigarettes.
- Pets (with the exception of licensed service animals).
- Large bags, backpacks, briefcases, or bulky parcels.
Note: All guests and their belongings are subject to inspection upon entry. Refusal to comply may results in denied entry.
Phone & Camera Usage
- All phones must be silenced before entering the auditorium.
- No texting, calling, or use of mobile devices during films or performances.
- Recording any portion of a film or performance is prohi8bited and may result in legal consequences.
Professional photography, video production, and commercial shoots must be pre-approved. Please contact the Theatre Program Director for details.
Preservation Policy
As a historically preserved building, we ask that all guests respect the integrity of the theatre’s architecture and furnishings. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Tampering with or removing any theatre property, signage, or decor.
- Applying posters, stickers, tape , or adhesives to any surface.
- Accessing non-public areas, including the stage, projection room, and backstage zones, without authorization.
Guests causing damage, accidental or intentional, may be held financially responsible for repairs or restoration.

The Cavern Theatre is committed to providing access for all guests. Please contact us in advance if you or someone in your party requires accommodations or seating assistance.
Emergency & Safety Procedures
In case of emergency, please follow all instructions provided by staff or emergency personnel. Exit signs are clearly marked throughout the theatre.
Rental & Private Event Guidelines
Groups renting the theatre are responsible for following all above policies, as well as any additional terms specified in the rental agreement. The renter assumes full liability for guest behavior and any damages incurred during their event.
